Setting up an AI assistant for customer service
Setting up a corporate AI assistant for an online retailer’s customer service: hard rules against invention and against mixing languages and currencies.
It lost context, improvised answers and confused currencies.
A team at an online retailer operating in several countries used a corporate AI assistant for customer service and kept hitting its limits: it lost context between sessions, answered from itself rather than from the uploaded documents, and confused languages and currencies between the country e-shops.
A production system prompt built on hard rules.
We wrote a production system prompt in Czech and Slovak built on hard rules: read the attached knowledge first, never answer outside it, hold one language and one currency per e-shop. Alongside it, a recommended knowledge-base structure and sample briefs. The deliverable is two documents and no code.
